Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
This policy is issued by Parcel Jobs LLC (“Parcel”, “we”, “us”), 10147 Hammerly Blvd, Houston, TX 77080. We operate under several names, and this one policy covers all of them:
- Parcel (parceljobs.com) — our service for contractors and home-service businesses. Hometown Concrete Services, operated by Parcel Jobs LLC, runs local advertising, contacts and qualifies inbound homeowner requests (including with AI-assisted calling), and assigns qualified jobs to an independent contractor in our network who serves that market.
- Our local service websites — pages hosted under parceljobs.com (for example parceljobs.com/concrete-cape-coral/) that use a local marketing name such as “Cape Coral Concrete” or “St. Petersburg Siding”. Those names are marketing names used by Parcel Jobs LLC; they are not the legal name of the contractor who performs the work.
- Hometown Concrete Services — a brand name Parcel Jobs LLC uses in some advertisements and request forms.
2. Who this policy covers
- Homeowners and property owners who submit a request for an estimate through one of our local service websites, through our advertisements (including on Facebook and Instagram), or by calling a phone number listed on one of our websites.
- Contractors and businesses who inquire about, sign up for, or use Parcel, including through our SMS opt-in page.
- Visitors to any of our websites.
3. Information we collect
From homeowners, when you submit a request form or call us:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- The service you need, the approximate project size, and any project details or message you choose to include
- The website, page, and service area the request came from, and the advertisement or form you responded to
- If you call, the phone number you called from and the content of the call (see AI-assisted calls)
From contractors and businesses, when you inquire, sign up, or opt in to text messages:
- Name, business name, phone number, and email address
- Service area, the trades you perform, and notes from our conversations with you
- Billing and account information needed to administer your subscription (payment card numbers are handled by our payment processor, not collected through our web forms)
Consent records. When you check a consent box on one of our forms we record the fact that you consented, the version of the consent wording you saw, the date and time, the page address, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string. We keep this so we can demonstrate that you agreed to be contacted, which the law requires of us.
Automatically collected information. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, which include IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps. Our websites load fonts from Google Fonts; when that happens your browser sends your IP address and user-agent to Google to retrieve the font files. On our local service websites, and only after you accept cookies, Google advertising tags also collect information described in section 6.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your request, confirm the details, and connect you with a contractor who serves your area
- To pass your job details to that contractor so they can contact you directly
- To operate Parcel accounts and subscriptions, deliver job notifications, and handle billing
- To keep records of requests and how they were handled, including consent records
- To measure the performance of our advertising (on local service websites, only with your consent)
- To prevent spam and abuse of our forms (for example, our forms include a hidden field that only automated bots fill in, and we limit how many submissions a single address can make)
- To comply with law and protect our legal rights
5. Who we share information with
This is the core of what our service does, so we want it to be plain. When you submit a request as a homeowner, we share your name, phone number, email, service address, and a description of the work you requested with the independent contractor who serves your market, so they can contact you directly and schedule the work. That contractor is a separate business, not an employee of Parcel, and their use of your information is governed by their own practices.
We also share information with the service providers we use to run the business. They may only use it to perform services for us:

We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Parcel, our customers, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes (what California law calls “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising).
6. Cookies and advertising measurement
parceljobs.com homepage and legal pages: we set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising tags.
Our local service websites (pages under parceljobs.com such as /concrete-cape-coral/) use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-M39QBRCV) and Google Ads conversion tracking (AW-18178797220) to measure whether our advertising leads to calls and requests. These tools can set cookies such as _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, and _ga on the parceljobs.com domain, and Google may set cookies such as IDE or test_cookie on its own domains.
They are off until you say yes. When you first visit one of our local service websites you will see a cookie notice. Until you choose “Accept cookies”, Google’s tags run in consent-denied mode: no advertising cookies are set and only aggregate, cookieless signals are sent. If you choose “Decline”, that stays the case. Your choice is stored in your browser (a local-storage entry named pj_consent) so we do not ask again; it contains only your choice, the date, and the version of the notice.
To change your choice, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any local service website, or clear the site data for parceljobs.com in your browser. You can also manage Google’s advertising personalization at Google Ads Settings and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for them. We honor the cookie choice you make on our sites, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sharing, which we already do not do.
7. SMS and text messaging
By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on one of our forms, you agree that Parcel and, for homeowner requests, the contractor we match you with may contact you at that number, including by automated text message and phone call, regarding your request or your account.
What we send. Homeowners may receive a message confirming that we received their request and that a team member will call, and a message introducing the contractor assigned to them. Contractors receive messages containing the details of jobs assigned to them, market availability updates, and account-related messages.
Frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your activity. We do not send recurring marketing or promotional text messages.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for these messages.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further text messages. You will receive one confirmation, and no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at 737-257-4286 or contact@parceljobs.com. Opting out of texts does not remove you from our records and does not stop us from calling you about a request you submitted; to stop all contact, see section 9.
Mobile opt-in data. We do not share or sell mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Sharing your contact details with the contractor matched to your project, as described above, is a function of the service you requested and is not third-party marketing.
Consent records. We keep the consent record described in section 3 as proof of your opt-in.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. AI-assisted calls and call recording
Some of the phone calls and text messages we place or answer are handled by an automated, AI-assisted system rather than a person. When you submit a request, the first call you receive from us may be from that system, which will identify itself, confirm the details of your project, and pass the information to the contractor or to a team member.
Calls handled by our system may be recorded and transcribed so we can qualify your request accurately, train and improve our team, and keep a record of what was discussed. Where the law requires it, you will be told at the start of a call that it is being recorded. Recordings and transcripts are processed by our calling providers (Vapi and Twilio) and are retained as described in section 12.

9. Your rights and choices
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law (for example, consent records and billing records)
- Stop contacting you. Reply STOP to end texts, or ask us to stop all contact. If you have already been matched with a contractor, we cannot control that contractor’s independent contact with you; you should contact them directly.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave
To make a request, email contact@parceljobs.com or call 737-257-4286. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days; if we need more time (up to 45 additional days) we will tell you why. We may need to verify your identity, usually by matching the name, phone number, or email on the request to our records. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf if you give the agent written permission and we can verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
10. California and other state rights
This section supplements the rest of the policy for residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and of other states with consumer privacy laws, including Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, and Montana.
Categories of personal information
In the last 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, from the sources and for the purposes described in sections 3 and 4, and disclosed them to the recipients described in section 5:

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, and we do not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those listed.
Your rights
You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to access it; to correct it; to delete it; to opt out of the sale or sharing of it; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Use the contact details in section 9; the same verification, timing, and authorized-agent rules apply.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. The one thing that could resemble “sharing” — Google advertising measurement on our local service websites — runs only if you accept cookies, and you can turn it off at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of those sites or by declining when the notice first appears. If you would like us to record an opt-out for you anyway, email contact@parceljobs.com with the subject line “Do not sell or share”. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Shine the Light
California Civil Code §1798.83 lets California residents ask for a list of third parties to whom we disclosed personal information for their direct-marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.
11. Children
Our websites and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. How long we keep information
- Request, contact, and consent records — for the duration of our relationship with you plus four years, which is the period during which a claim about contact consent could be brought, unless a longer period is required by law or for an ongoing dispute.
- Call recordings and transcripts — up to 12 months, unless needed for a dispute.
- Server logs — as retained by our hosting provider, typically 30 to 90 days.
- Advertising cookies — for the lifetimes Google sets for them (generally up to 90 days for conversion cookies and up to two years for analytics cookies).
When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.
13. Security
We protect personal information with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS on all of our websites, access limited to the people who need it, and spam and rate-limit protections on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as required by law.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change, and material changes will be posted on this page. If we change how we use information you have already given us in a way that requires your consent, we will ask for it.
